Cursor

Install the SparkLogs plugin so Cursor gets investigation skills, Cursor rules, follow-up commands, and the SparkLogs MCP connection.

Install

1. Open Cursor's plugin or marketplace flow.
2. Add itlightning/sparklogs-ai-plugins as a marketplace source. Use the default dist branch and the repository root.
3. Install sparklogs.
4. When Cursor prompts, sign in to SparkLogs in the browser (OAuth).

Ask a question about a SparkLogs-monitored host in chat. Ask for sparklogs-investigate only when you want the written cited report. sparklogs-analyze-cause is the follow-up for candidate causes.

Cursor should surface the follow-up commands as /sparklogs-summary and /sparklogs-explain. Type the command, then the question or scope. Asking in plain language works regardless: the skills carry the workflow.

Updating

Re-open the marketplace source and update sparklogs when Cursor shows a newer version.
